What I ordered to go: Mushroom burger Tots Entering in Rupe's I instantly felt a family owned restaurant vibe. The employees did not wear a company t shirt or jacket, just ordinary clothes. I didn't think I was in a business, but rather a family home. The employee who was helping me out was polite. She rung me up and I went off my way. The mushroom burger: traditional burger with sautéed mushrooms. They perfected a simple burger. I felt like I was eating at dicks burger in Seattle, which they know how to make a good simple burger. It had the perfect amount of sauces inside. I only regret not asking if they could put jalapeños inside Tots: I liked it. It had a nice crisp bite to them. Some of them were a little soft, but I'm blaming it on the steam building up In the bag prior to me eating them Delicious mom and pop shop. I'm going try and come back tomorrow once again since I won't be back In Blackfoot for another 4 months. I live in Pocatello and will gladly drive to Blackfoot just to have the burgers here, and always eat here on the way to or from an Idaho Falls trip. Excellent service and food all around. I wish the patties were made a bit larger, I always consider ordering a second when I'm done. This isn't a complaint, just a testament to how tasty the food is. Always worth the gas for me. Be prepared for them to be busy when you go. Clearly a local favorite for a reason. My husband and I road tripped from Nevada to Wyoming for the solar eclipse this year, and as we were passing through Blackfoot on the way there we decided to stop and get something to eat. I found Rupe's Burgers on yelp and decided to give it a try. They had menus available in each stall with an intercom system, but I think there were waitresses that might have been taking orders too. Everything was so affordable I momentarily went a little crazy and just wanted to order wayyy more food than we needed. I settled on a fish sandwich and a milkshake. We had our dogs with us, so they were nice enough to bring us the food outside when it was ready although it should be noted that there is no outdoor seating, other than those who want to eat in their car. The fish sandwich was kind of like a patty and was very deep fried, but tasted very good. And the milkshake was also very yummy and they had lots of flavors. I went inside to use the restroom, and there seemed to be a good amount of seating. The interior felt homey, and was nice and bright. Based on the prices and the taste, I would definitely stop here again if I was ever in the area. I heard about this place at work and was told it is a rupes deutschland stop if you live in Idaho. We ventured to Blackfoot and decided to stop. The place is decorated much like you would expect, old memorabilia and local sports items. I ordered the blue cheese bacon burger with onion rings. The burger was seasoned with Cajun seasoning and was very tasty. The most surprising thing was how the blue cheese tasted like blue cheese. I order a blue cheese bacon burger any chance I get, and only 1 other has the desired taste, and that was rupes deutschland upscale restaurant in Salt Lake City. The onion rings were average and so was the burger patty. My wife ordered a chicken wrap, she enjoyed it but her favorite part was the tater tots. Her work also ordered from here recently and she ordered a mushroom burger, she said it was good but she too said the burger patty seemed average and nothing special. They food came out fast and quick. We were in and out in less than 20 minutes, most of that time was spent trying to figure out what we wanted. While it was fun and a time to get to know our new surroundings, for the price, I'd rather go to 5 Guys. One one hand, the food is amazing. It is a little diner type place that also has a wannabe Sonic drive thru. Rupes deutschland got a Hawaiian burger and a Pink Floyd shake, and it was all amazing. The price I paid for my meal was the price of a rupes deutschland sit down restrain, except I didn't get any fries or a side. I would love to go back, but I can't make myself spend that much for a burger and drink. My wife sister took her to this place last fall, and she liked so much she thought are whole family should try it. We made this passed weekend. For what it is it's great stop. It is and rupes deutschland style Mom and Papa type hamburgers place, but unlike so many of these places it was freshly kept up and clean. Menu had a lot of great items you would expect. We are a family of six, so it made complete sense to order the sampler. Everything on sampler was cooked well, and good. Mom and two kids got burgers. Everyone thought they where good. Two of the kids got chicken strips, and where pleased with them. I order an Idaho potato with stroganoff gravy. The potato was great, but not rupes deutschland best stroganoff. Most of the kids order shakes, and Mom got a malt. Reports where great all the ice cream products. For the price they may have been a little small. A plus for me was that they served Pepsi products. Nothing over the top great, but as whole it was very good. Stopped at the Potato Museum and then lunch at Rupes. My husband and I both got a bacon cheeseburger and then we shared tater tots and onion rings. They were cooked to perfection and the get sauce. My husband got a blueberry shake and loved every sip made with real blueberries. Super nice staff as well. Oh how I wish we didnt live 1500 miles away. Rupe's is one of my must-eat places when we are in Idaho. After stopping by the Downtown Bread Company and finding them closed, Mom suggested we head to Rupe's and I did not argue. I had a grilled cheese, tater tots, and root beer float. Mom got a burger and onion rings and ate as much as she could, but they definitely don't skimp on the servings here. But the holy grail item that Rupe's has is the fry sauce. Needless to say, we asked for extra. At home in Vegas you have to make your own when you go out to eat-I was going to stock up on the pre-made goodness. My food and drink were delicious as always and the service was awesome. We ate in the car but our food came out quick and she hustled back with rupes deutschland change and fry sauce. If you are in town, eat at Rupe's. The food is great, inexpensive, and fast. The atmosphere is really fun. Every time we go here the staff acts like they dont want to help us. We dont order anything crazy or ask for special accommodations. But we definitely get the vibe that they dont want us there. The rupes deutschland is good enough we keep going back though. Had the Bacon Burger No Catsup with Tater Tots and an Oreo Shake. My water came in a frosty mug. This is a local classic a buddy from here said I had to come to. And there was a little girl singing and playing her violin for entertainment- loved this. rupes deutschland You'll only find that in these small town joints. It is a fast food so it hard to spoil yet possible especially if you are employed by Burger King. Rupes deutschland they seem to be family owned and the community is small there so they are not interested in losing customers to other burger places. Sonic style drive inbut unlike Sonic in Pocatello this place hears your order. I've been going to this burger joint for at least 20 years. It's still just as fabulous as they say I first went. Burgers are big and juicy. Fries are crispy and warm. Atmosphere is fun and vibrant. I love that rupes has always supported local high schools and sports. Awesome food with that small town old fashioned feel. I was really disappointed in the food and service we received when we were last there. My burger was cold and the French fries were under cooked. We have had really good food here in the past but the last few times it has really gone down hill. We will be looking for another rupes deutschland to stop the next time we are driving through. This place is quintessential Blackfoot. A true local spot, the local memorabilia looks to have been built up for years. On our lunch visit it looked like the whole town had shown up. It's both a Sonic style drive in as well as a sit down restaurant. The food was pretty good, if a little generic. The American Burger, which was decent overall and ironically saved by the addition of Canadian bacon, appears to be their specialty. Service seemed a little overwhelmed by our large party but eventually got the job done. If you want a good but not great meal rupes deutschland experience Blackfoot, this is it.
